What impact will your story have on the world...

and how can you prepare to talk about it?

As I get set for the launch date for Bloom: Letters on Girlhood in Canada next week I’m asking myself important questions about the book.

Why did I write it?

What action do I hope it will have in the world?

What kinds of discussions would I like it to inspire?

In this video I share a resource that will help you get clarity on the message you want to share in your intimate storytelling.

Safekeeping: A Writer’s Guided Journal for Launching a Book with Love by Chelene Knight is an incredible resource for writers who want their work to have an impact.

I’m currently working 1:1 in a bespoke mentorship with Chelene, who is the Founder of Breathing Space Creative Studio.

It’s a pleasure to share her book with other writers so they can benefit from the wisdom of her journey writing and publishing five books.

Her teaching supports authors so they can enjoy every stage of envisioning, writing and publishing their books without the hustle and burnout.

I also talk about the impact I hope my memoir-in-letters, Bloom: Letters on Girlhood will have in the world—and the bigger message I now see is woven through my work.

Bloom: Letters on Girlhood will be available in Canadian bookstores on September 26/25 and on March 26/26 internationally.

Canadians can pre-order Bloom: Letters on Girlhood at this link.

Our friends in the US can pre-order Bloom: Letters on Girlhood right here.

Want the Bloom-inspired writing guide I mention in my video?

Email your pre-order confirmation receipt to info@sparkyourstory.com and we’ll send this gorgeous PDF of writing prompts your way!
